Tripp Sills is an advisor at StarBridge Advisors, LLC. Tripp is an accomplished technology, business, and enterprise architect in the Marketing, Railway, Service Provider, and Healthcare Industry. As the healthcare Chief Technology Officer of a large ISP/VAR and Architect with Cisco Systems, he was successful working with a diverse group of cultures, large technical teams, and addressing complex challenges. Tripp has helped numerous healthcare systems reach their Meaningful Use attestation for reimbursement. Tripp has proven success in all aspects of Information Technology designing secure Enterprise Storage, Business Continuity, Data Center, Voice/Video systems.

Tripp works with large healthcare systems to build out business driven architectures that clearly enhance the value of IT. Tripp was a Business Architect with Cisco Systems focusing on business transformation and architecture in healthcare for 8 years. He was the Lead Enterprise Architect for one of the largest healthcare organizations in the country, Community Health Systems, where he led and designed the enterprise strategy for achieving Meaningful Use. The solution combined elements from the application architecture, technology architecture and business architecture. Cross-functional leadership was required to navigate to a new and changing environment. Prior to this, Tripp had the opportunity to design and build the infrastructure for a 1.5M square foot patient tower in the Central Florida area. This “green” field project – from the cable runs and closet/data center locations to the integrated nurse call integration in the largest Emergency Department in the country of over 100K square foot – received national attention and was rewarded by numerous industry organizations for Project of the Year 2009.

Prior to working in healthcare Tripp designed large scale enterprise networks in the railway, marketing, and service provider industries.

He has presented at Cisco Live for 4 years on Medical Grade Network, Mobility, Security, and Software Defined Architectures. Tripp has also presented at HIMSS with partners and vendors. He is an expert in Information Security focused on Patient Health Information and compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST.

Tripp’s certifications include Business Architecture Transformation (BATP), CCNA, CCVP, CCNP, CCSP, CCIE (Written) Security, Voice, R/S, and TOGAF. He holds certifications as a Nortel Certified Architect, Meru Architect, JNCIA, and MCSE. Tripp attended Mississippi College in Clinton, MS with concentration on Computer Engineering. He is a member of HIMSS and ATA.
