Nancy Beale


Nancy Beale is an Advisor at StarBridge Advisors, LLC. Nancy’s 33 years of healthcare experience spans clinical operations, vendor experience, consulting, and IT operations. Her professional work in clinical implementation is highly regarded. She has worked alongside national healthcare leaders guiding healthcare IT implementation. Her professional experience in implementation has spanned community hospital organizations and large integrated delivery networks. Nancy’s work has included the partnership with IT, nursing, physicians, and allied health, systems strategy, configuration guidance, clinical transformation, as well as collaborative oversight and integration with revenue cycle systems and operations. Her experience serves her well in the executive role for healthcare IT and clinical informatics. With a strong commitment to impact change in healthcare along with broad professional experience, Nancy is a well-positioned advisor in strategic systems leadership.

Most recently Nancy led a division of 250 people at NYU Langone Health, recruiting and developing award-winning talent to achieve HIMSS 6, HIMSS 7, HIMSS Davies Award, as well as several innovation partnerships. As an IT executive, she led the successful development and execution of the clinical IT strategy for the health system, as well as the clinical IT strategy and execution to support merger and acquisition activity. In her role as vice president, Nancy provided leadership and guidance over the clinical systems division in the clinical IT implementation of a new and fully digital hospital in Manhattan, successfully completed IT integration of multiple large health system acquisitions and was responsible for new clinical technology implementation and operations. Nancy’s knowledge of healthcare IT is both broad and deep.

Since leaving direct patient care in 2002, Nancy has held a variety of roles in healthcare IT including clinical lead, program director, executive consultant, senior director and vice president.

Nancy served in leadership roles in Wisconsin for the Association of Women’s Health and Neonatal Nursing. She is currently serving as committee chair for the national HIMSS Nursing Informatics committee, Nancy holds additional professional memberships in AONE, Sigma Theta Tau, AWHONN, ANIA, AMIA, ANA, HIMSS and ACHE. Nancy holds a master’s degree in Nursing with an emphasis in Health Systems and Healthcare Informatics, and is board certified in the specialty of nursing informatics.
